3CX Desktop App: ACTION REQUIRED - Uninstall immediately!

Good Afternoon,

I've been informed of a severe security vulnerability in the 3CX Desktop application.

While we do not have many folks using this application, if you are running the application on a Windows or Mac device, you must uninstall this program immediately.

Note: Users on ChromeOS, Android, and iOS, and desk phones are not affected.

For Windows:

Start
Type “Control Panel”, Enter
Select “Programs and Features”
Find 3CX Desktop App, select and press “Uninstall”.

On Mac:

Go to “Applications”
Tap on “3CX Desktop APP”
Right click then “Move to Bin”
Ensure that it isn’t also present on Desktop otherwise delete it from there as well.
Empty the Bin.
